The First "AI + Optics" Integration and Innovation Symposium

2025-07-16

AI for Science has been widely recognized in academic circles as an emerging scientific research paradigm, with remarkable achievements demonstrated across multiple fields. As a vital branch of physics, optics’ integration with artificial intelligence stands among the most forward-looking and transformative interdisciplinary directions in the current technological landscape. Consequently, "AI for Optics" and "Optics for AI" have become hot topics in research. AI is playing an increasingly critical role in addressing complex problems in traditional optics, optimizing high-performance optical devices, and advancing practical optical applications. Simultaneously, optics serves as a new platform for artificial intelligence, capable of overcoming bottlenecks in AI development, accelerating the execution of deep learning algorithms, and opening up new possibilities for high-performance computing.

The symposium will gather renowned experts in artificial intelligence, optics, and related fields to conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies and latest research outcomes in areas including AI Optical Imaging, AI optoelectronic integration, AI optical communication, AI optical design and manufacturing, AI information processing, and frontier AI technologies and innovations, aiming to advance the development of "AI + Optics" discipline in China. CAS Microstar will participate in the symposium, showcasing a range of products such as spatial light modulators, high-efficiency coupling modules, and color holographic systems. Experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives interested in these areas are welcome to contact us.
