On October 16, the International Advanced Laser Alliance was officially announced at the HICOOL 2025 Global Entrepreneur Summit.

The 12th Gas Turbines Focus Conference and Exhibition 2025 was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from July 16 to 18. Focusing on aero-engines and gas turbines' key areas like innovative design and green development, it showcased cutting-edge technologies and solutions, serving as a platform for industry insiders to decode trends, seize opportunities and expand networks.

AI for Science has been widely recognized in academic circles as an emerging scientific research paradigm, with remarkable achievements demonstrated across multiple fields. As a vital branch of physics, optics’ integration with artificial intelligence stands among the most forward-looking and transformative interdisciplinary directions in the current technological landscape. Consequently, "AI for Optics" and "Optics for AI" have become hot topics in research. AI is playing an increasingly critical role in addressing complex problems in traditional optics, optimizing high-performance optical devices, and advancing practical optical applications. Simultaneously, optics serves as a new platform for artificial intelligence, capable of overcoming bottlenecks in AI development, accelerating the execution of deep learning algorithms, and opening up new possibilities for high-performance computing.

Co-hosted by the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering (CSOE), the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), and other institutions, the "2025 6th World Photonics Conference" was held at the Beijing National Convention Center from June 24 to 27, 2025. The conference aims to focus on the cutting-edge technologies and latest applications in the global optics and optoelectronics fields. Guided by scenarios, driven by needs, and supported by technological services, it built a large platform for university-enterprise cooperation and integration of industry and education through a variety of themed activities, including academic exchanges, industrial forums, exhibitions, demand cooperation docking, award evaluations, and talent services, so as to promote the development of new-quality productivity through scientific and technological innovation. CAS Microstar made a grand appearance with a number of products such as spatial light modulators, high-efficiency coupling modules, and color Holographic systems, to discuss the new future of photon technology with colleagues in the industry!

Xi'an CAS Microstar participated in the Light Conference 2025 held in Changchun from June 9th to 13th, 2025, as well as the concurrent 2025 Changchun International Optoelectronics Expo. We exhibited a variety of products such as spatial light modulators, high-efficiency coupling modules, and color holographic systems.

The 7th International Symposium on Computational Imaging Technology and Applications took place in Shanghai, China, from May 23–25, 2025. As one of China’s premier academic conferences in computational imaging, this event will gather leading researchers, academicians, top university teams, and industry pioneers to discuss the latest advancements and real-world applications of computational imaging technologies.

From March 11 to 13, 2025, the much-anticipated Munich Shanghai Optoelectronics Fair was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center. This year is also the 20th anniversary of the Munich Shanghai Optoelectronics Fair. As a dazzling event in the global optoelectronics field, it not only attracts experts and scholars in the field of scientific research and industry from all over the world, but also gathers elite enterprises in the laser, optics and optoelectronics industry.
