Atmospheric Turbulence Simulation System Based On Spatial Light Modulator
Product Briefing
Atmospheric turbulence is an eddy of random shape and size. In the field of optics, it refers to the random change of refractive index brought about by the random change of local temperature and pressure in the atmosphere, which makes the change of turbulence difficult to be grasped in a timely manner due to the change and influence of uncertain factors such as temperature and pressure.
The atmospheric turbulence simulation system based on SLM is mainly composed of phase screen algorithm software and turbulence simulation module, in which the phase screen algorithm software mainly calculates and generates the atmospheric turbulence phase screen; the turbulence simulation module is mainly based on the optical transmission and acquisition system of SLM. The system adopts numerical simulation to generate the phase screen and load it onto the modulator, which utilizes the phase modulation capability of SLM to produce phase distortion in the incident beam, so as to achieve the effect of simulating atmospheric turbulence in the laboratory.
