Spatial light modulator(SLM) is an optically programmable element that can realize arbitrary light field by changing the phase distribution. At present, we have developed more than 30 spatial light modulator products with our own intellectual property rights, which can be applied in the fields of projection imaging, dynamic field simulation, scattering imaging, image filtering, new type of special displays, teaching instruments, 3D printing, photolithography, structured light microscopy, three-dimensional measurements, in-vehicle HUDs, optical communications, biomedical imaging, super-resolution microscopy, and micro-nano-processing.
A digital micromirror device (DMD) is a spatial light modulator that modulates the amplitude, direction and/or phase of incident light.A DMD is an array of multiple high-speed digitally-reflected light openings consisting of a number of small aluminum reflective mirrors.The number of mirrors is determined by the resolution of the display, with one small mirror corresponding to one pixel, and the transformation rate can be a few thousand times per second or more.
